Our Mission

At Cavallaro & Co., our mission is to create a salon culture that gives every opportunity to our associates to reach their highest artistic, professional and personal potential, because what is good for them is great for our client.

Our Story

In 1971, Rex Leland and Vince Cavallaro opened a small shop in the new Mall in Columbia.  Joining in the cutting edge vision for a new town, Rex and Vince created a space where men and women could have their haircare needs met in one salon.  Through determination and hard work, they built a business that could sustain itself through the evolution of the haircare industry. 
 
40 years later, Cavallaro & Co. is still located in that same mall.  Now owned and run by Rebecca Wibberley and Wayne Shepherd, the same lessons of hard work and family traditions live on.  With more than a collective century of experience, we now have roughly 20 people sharing in our dream.  Whether it be with a haircut, haircolor, facial waxing, or texturizing services, our core beliefs remain rooted in customer service.  Serving the community with small business values, Cavallaro & Co. prides itself on knowing the part we play in making our guests look their best every day.

Appointments

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.  We recommend that you book your next appointment prior to leaving the salon so that we can be sure to accomodate your schedule. 

Policies & Procedures

Cancellation Policy: Please give us at least 24 hours notice when cancelling appointments. We reserve the right to charge a fee for changing, cancellation without 24-hour notice, or no-shows.

1. For the safety and consideration of other salon guests, we ask that children are not brought along to appointments. In extreme situations, exceptions are happily made.
2. Smocks are made available for your convenience to help protect your clothing while services are being rendered.
3. We reserve the right to modify service prices without notice. Every effort will be made to inform our clients ahead of time of all salon price increases. Prices may vary based on individual stylist, length of hair and intricacy of haircut. Bridal Policy: All bridal parties are priced on an individual basis and are required to give a 50% deposit for all services. Please call for more information.

Gift Certificates

Ideal for holiday gifts, birthdays, anniversaries as well as employees and business clients. You can print your gift certificate yourself or email it to your recipient.
